Our Process

Hotel Stages

Sorting

Housekeeping staff collects used linens, towels, and other textiles from guest rooms and common areas. They separate these items based on type and level of soiling. Upon collection at Douse Laundry, the soiled linens are sorted based on fabric type, color, and level of dirtiness. Any visible stains are pre-treated to improve stain removal during washing.

Stain Removal

Linens with stubborn stains or minor damages are sent for specialized stain removal or repairs before being put into washing. Hotel-grade detergents and specialized laundry chemicals are added in appropriate amounts to the washing machine to effectively clean and disinfect the linens.

Washing

The washing machines are set to specific cycles and temperatures suitable for the type of linens being cleaned (e.g., bedding, towels). This includes appropriate agitation, rinse cycles, and spin speeds.

Drying

After washing, the linens are transferred to industrial dryers. The appropriate drying cycle and heat settings are selected to ensure the linens are completely dry.

Ironing & Folding

Once dry, the linens are folded and pressed using commercial-grade ironing and folding machines, ensuring a neat and professional appearance. A designated staff member checks the quality of the laundered linens, ensuring they meet the hotel’s standards for cleanliness, appearance, and freshness.

Delivery

The clean linens are sorted, labeled, and stored in designated storage areas based on linen type (e.g., bedding, towels). They are then distributed to the appropriate hotels.
